1 General
These are the terms and conditions which apply to your subscription with Faraday Research and your use of the website or iPhone application provided by Faraday.
By using our services you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and they shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Faraday Research LLP (the "Agreement").
If we change our terms and conditions, we will notify you of those changes here.
If there is anything you do not understand, or you have a query, please contact our customer services department on 01872 265 333. Please note that calls may be recorded and monitored to help improve our services.

2 Faraday Research Content
Faraday will provide updated content for each Faraday Weekly Report up to 49 times per year, up to 240 times per year for each Faraday Daily Report and for each Faraday Monthly Report up to 12 times per year. Faraday in its sole discretion will determine the amount of content provided in each update based on the prevailing market conditions at the time of publication.
3 Research and Information
The research and information given by Faraday and provided on the Faraday website or iPhone application is not intended as an offer or solicitation with respect to the sale or purchase of any security or financial product. The research and information provided is prepared for general information only, and as such, your specified needs or personal circumstances, including your investment objectives, risk profile, knowledge and understanding or financial situation have not been taken into consideration. Individuals should therefore discuss, with their financial planner or advisor, the merits of each recommendation for their own specified circumstances and realise that not all investments will be appropriate for all people.
4 Access to Site and Premium Content
Access to some content on the Faraday website or iPhone application is restricted.
To access premium content on the Faraday website or iPhone application you are required to hold a valid subscription to one or more Faraday products. You will be provided with a username and password to access the premium content. The extent of premium content provided to you is dependent on the Faraday products to which you have subscribed.
5 Use of Site and Reproduction of Content (Copyright)
The information on this site is meant for personal use of the individual visitors and may not be used for any other purposes. Further distribution or redistribution of this information, regardless whether it is or is not meant for commercial purposes, by any form of media, is prohibited without prior written approval by Faraday. Any reproduction, copy, multiplication, transfer or hypertext link, in any way, of a part or of the whole of the information on this site, must receive Faraday's written approval in advance. If the copyright is violated Faraday may take legal action.
Reproduction of any material within the Members area of the Faraday website or iPhone application is prohibited. Information is for Faraday subscribers only. You agree that if you reproduce any content without prior written consent, or disclose your logon details to another person/s, you will accept full financial liability to pay the annual subscription price for all additional readers or recipients.
6 Limitation of liability
We do everything in our power to ensure that our website and iPhone application is fully operational and available to you at all times.
Faraday has made every effort to ensure the reliability of the views and recommendations expressed in the reports published on its website and iPhone application. Whilst Faraday has taken all reasonable steps to ensure this information is correct and up to date, Faraday does not offer any guarantee as to the accuracy or completeness of such information.
To the extent permitted by law, Faraday and its employees, agents and authorised representatives exclude all liability for any loss or damage (including indirect, special or consequential loss or damage) arising from the use of, or reliance on, any information on the website and iPhone application whether or not caused by any negligent act or omission. If the law prohibits the exclusion of such liability, Faraday hereby limits its liability, to the extent permitted by law, to the re-supply (or the cost of re-supply) of the information on the website or iPhone application.
7 Regulatory Obligations
By agreeing to Faraday both providing you with a service and so that we can fulfil our regulatory obligations you will be automatically categorised as being a Retail Client and therefore you may be entitled to compensation from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme should we be unable (or likely to be unable) to pay any claim you may make for financial compensation. Should you however consider yourself as Professional Client please contact Faraday’s Compliance Officer so he can assess you’re eligibly to be so re-classified. We will write and confirm the outcome of any client classification re-assessment.
Should you for any reason be dissatisfied with the level of service provided to you by Faraday please put your complaint in writing to our Compliance Officer who will fully consider your complaint in accordance with Faraday’s complaints procedures. A copy of this procedure can be provided upon request.
8 Disclosure
Partners, employees and/or associates of Faraday may hold one or more of the stocks reviewed by Faraday. These holdings should not be seen in any way as a recommendation.

9 Subscriptions and Subscription Prices
To access premium content you must subscribe to one or more products on the Faraday website.
To subscribe you must go to the subscription page, provide the information marked as “Mandatory” and select the payment option for the price quoted (at the time of your transaction). You will then receive a verification email from Faraday indicating that Faraday has accepted your subscription and payment, and you will be able to access the premium content.
All prices quoted on the www.faradayresearch.co.uk website for Faraday reports are quoted in GBP.
Faraday has used reasonable endeavours to ensure that prices for subscriptions to Faraday services are published accurately on the website but these prices are subject to change and Faraday reserves the right to change these prices without prior notice at any time. Prices charged and payable will be those quoted at the time you completed your subscription application.
If you order one of our own products, you will be sent an email which confirms receipt of your order. It will not contain the payment details provided by you.
In the event of any non-authorisation of your card, a customer services representative will contact you by telephone (if you have supplied your number) or by email, to check the details you have supplied, and re-try the authorisation process. Again, if we contact you by email, the email will not contain any payment details.
10 Cancellations
Member satisfaction is important to us, and we understand that our service will not suit everyone’s needs. Accordingly all new subscribers are entitled to a 7 days money back guarantee (please note that this does not apply to existing or past Members).
In the event that the report does not fulfil your requirements, cancellations must be notified in writing and posted to Faraday Research LLP, CMA House, Newham Road, Truro, Cornwall, TR1 2SU.
The postmark on the envelope must be no later than 7 days after the subscription was initially taken. Please note, that without exception, refunds cannot be made after the initial 7 days. No pro rata refunds will be given under any circumstances.
11 Key Features of Faraday Premium
The Faraday Premium service provides personalised portfolio reviews, as well as access to all Faraday’s reports.
In order to provide any form of personalised service, Faraday is required to gather additional information regarding the financial position, investment objectives and risk profile of an individual investor.
11.1 Our responsibilities
We will provide you with research in accordance with the standards expected of a reasonably skilled professional financial adviser. We will not have breached this agreement if movements in the financial markets result in changes to the price or value of assets in your portfolio.
11.2 Your responsibilities
Our research is based on the information you provide us in relation to your personal circumstances and investment objectives. You should disclose any information which may be relevant to our research and notify us if your circumstances or investment objectives change.
12 Other
Faraday Research LLP is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the UK (FSA registration number 538120). In providing our services, we will treat you as a retail client for the purposes of FSA rules. Please be aware our telephone lines may be recorded for monitoring or training purposes. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and you hereby agree to be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
